The Super White Liquid Detergent

I went with my mum to the NTUC today. She wanted to buy detergent. It so happens that there was a particular brand of detergent that she fancies.

You see, this particular brand whole range constitute of 3 types. 1 for Colour, 1 for Anti-bacterial and 1 for Super-White.

So I pointed to the 3rd one and ask my mum what is that for. Since we are conversing in chinese, my mum then said "super white" in chinese and matter-of-factly. Her pronunciation is not so accurate I guess... and I burst into laughter there and then. I swore that even the NTUC assistant who was pasting price tag along the same aisle as us sniggered at the faux pas.

My mum didn't get it the first time round (surprisingly, being a hokkien and all.) So I got the whole family together who had already wandered off and asked my mum again. She said it again and this time round, my bro, sis and myself roared with laughter. Even my dad couldn't help but smiled stoically.

A well-deserved family moment it is!~ Never thought grocery shopping can be fun.

It didn't make it past the 2 years I thought it would.

I am a few months short of getting a phone.

Syberia 2

I was wrong.

Syberia 2 is definitely harder.

I am losing hair and sleep thinking on how to get to the next stage.

Dammit.

I dig adventure games.

I simply dig adventure games. A welcome respite into the world of fantasy (reality can be boring). Still remember the good old day when I played 'Inherit the earth', 'Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist', 'Sam and Max: Hit the Road' and ' Day of the Tentacle'. Those were fun games that you could spent hours puzzling over and kill some brain cells in the process.

But when you arrive at the solution, the satisfaction payoff is immense.

Decided to return to my roots and revisit the puzzle adventure genre. The choice this time round is Syberia. The story is engrossing, the puzzles intuitive and the voice acting are simply excellent. Mammoth and Automatons is definitely a winning combination. I tore through the game in 2 days. Simply fun.

Just started Syberia 2. Definitely felt easier then Syberia 1. I can't wait to get to the ending.

Philip Morris is a good case study if you're doing marketing strategy and economics of industries.
