Life just goes on and on....

I received a SMS out of the blue from LTA Ong, QM of a reservist unit. The SMS told me to prepare a set of extra PT attire for the upcoming Bn day. I got the shit frightened out of me. I didn't knew that I was posted to that unit and I definitely wasn't aware of the upcoming Bn day. A call later resolved the incident. It was a case of mistaken identity. Just when I thought that I could finally make-believe that I am finally a civilian, I get rude wakeup calls that I am actually an Operationally-Ready NS man. Time to book for that IPPT.

I received a SMS from my former mentor asking me if I am interested in going back as a Rover SL. It is an exciting period now. My first thought was "yes". But when I looked through my email and realised that I have to do bridging for the wood badge course by 2010 for go through the whole course again. I am now having second thoughts as I already made plans for the next 2 years. My heart tells me to go for it. But my mind tells me that I will not be able to deal with it as the next two years will be a challenge based on what I have in mind already. Hmm.... What should I do?

The COI report is finally out. No. I don't want to argue whose complacency or fault for the escape. It is really evident. I really think that we ought to move on. The morale of the story… Well, everybody had a chance to make a difference during the elections. Enough said.

A lot of decisions were made in a moment of folly. You know, people actually commit rape and blame it on intoxication and inebriation as a legal defense. My case is less complicated. On a whim, I signed up for passion run with Nicholas. But work is sapping my energy for weekend and evening runs. I am doomed for the run… Maybe I could ‘limp’ to the finishing line. Ha!

I have been thinking long and hard about leaving my job to pursue slackness for sometime now. I realized that hanging along orchard road with a cigarette in hand and looking at chio girls is what I truly want in life. Why? Why can’t I lead such a lifestyle? Woe is to me…

I truly cannot understand why the office must have somebody to wash cups. You see, the current office policy is this, at the end of the day, one of the workers will go around and collect all the cups from all the desks in the office. He will then proceed to wash all the cups and arrange it nicely back in the pantry for the next day. (Don’t get me wrong. I am not the one doing the washing!) I just couldn’t understand why everybody can’t wash their own cup after drinking their beverages. It’s totally demeaning to the worker. He wasn’t hired for that. The least I can do is not to add to his woes and may one day some brave soul bring this up during the monthly meeting and put an end to this beastly practice forever.

It's 0930 hrs in the morning and I am burnt out

It's only tuesday and I am feeling burnt out.

It didn't help that I worked till 7.30 yesterday. Preparing project deliverables in the morning, then rushing out for a site recce in the afternoon. Then a client meeting in the late afternoon. Finally an office meeting at 1730. The last thing for the day will be a frantic rush of paperwork for the big women herself.

Monday was a killer. It rained heavily this morning. I was awoken by the howling winds and the din created by the splattering raindrops. I wanted so badly to take a MC today. In the end I didn't. Because I already took once last week. So in the end I still had to haul my sorry ass to work and was 15 mins late because of the rain and the traffic jam.

Damn it.

On a lighter note, I have my own theories on how Mas Selamat managed to escape from whitley centre.

Theory 1
Mas selamat actually possess a bloodline limit. Something like Sharingan. On the actual day, he mangekyou sharingan the guards in a genjutsu. He then proceed to somersault across the walls like what all shinobi from the hidden leaf village do. He then summoned a frog which he rode all the way out of the country.

Theory 2
Mas Selamat is actually an arrancar in disguise. He is one of the espada who specialise in Sonic steps. So he simply sonic step out all the way. The limp actually comes on when he sonic step too much and he muscle cramp or something. If only the guards got shunpo...

Theory 3
Mas selamat is actually an demoniac amalgam in disguise. So he simply transformed into his amalgam form and melded with the surrounding walls and fences. That would also explain why all the cameras were not working. Then he simply willed himself out.

I am stressed. So I need to daydream and write some nonsense to get myself into the mood for more Sh*t....

The 13th & 14th Week of 2008

There are times when I want to write an entry spanning across a few weeks and I have absolutely no idea on how to name such a post. So I thought that practicality should rule creativity this time and from my post title. One can't deny the fact on how practical it is...

I simply took today's date and minus from the 1st day of the year. The answer is then modulated by 7 (for 7 days in a week). The figure will denote the week number of the year. I think I will stick to this formula from now onwards for my really practical posts.
