Universe by Savage Garden

Well I'd like to take you as I find you
Imagine our clothes are on the floor
Feel my caress so soft and gentle
So delicate you cry for more
But you know baby
You know baby does it right
And you know baby does it right

Universe inside of your heart
You gotta let me know so you can be free baby
You wanted it so much, and now that it's over
You don't know what you want

Put time in a capsule
Two minds consensual
Entwined to perfection
If we could...

Cuddle up close
Lay on my chest now
Listen my heart beat's coming down
If you get tired you close your eyes now
When you wake up I won't be found
'Cause I know babyI know you're the nervous kind
With so much going on in your mind

Universe inside your heart
You gotta let me know so you can be free baby
You wanted it so much, and now that it's over
You don't know what you want

But let me tell you that, this time,
I'm going to make you mine
(I won't let you go)
'Cause I know, this time
I'm going to make sure I look out for me

'Cause you know baby
Well you know baby does it right
And you know baby does it right
You will only end up lost in loneliness
And wake up with the words already on your lips
So I'll let you go, baby
So I'll let you go...

Universe inside your heart
You gotta let me know so you can be free baby
You wanted it so much, and now that it's over
You don't know what you want

I had this running on loop in my Zen Vision:M for a while now... Great Stuff. Really.

ORD Signs. 20 things that happens.

You know your time in green is almost up when:

1) You get greeted by your camp colleagues with surprise. "Hey wtf. How come you're still around? Thought you ORD already."

2) You spend more time in bunk then in the office.

3) People are suddenly very polite to you.

4) Work that normally comes your way goes to others instead.

5) You begin to worry on how to lug your camp stuff back.

6) You do your in-camp shopping.

7) You shun the cookhouse and go straight to the canteen.

8) You suddenly see a lot of newbies. New additions to the unit.

9) You are in great spirit. and can actually laugh and joke endlessly. In camp.

10) You begin to hate the colour green. All shades of them.

11) You find wearing boots a chore and you drag your feet.

12) You wake up early and decide to go back to sleep.

13) You sympathises with those who ORD later then you.

14) You look for excuses to get out of the uniform asap. Prefering to wear admin.

15) You leave the office on the dot.

16) You start hunting around for your issued items for dekitting.

17) You have to do a MyORD quiz.

18) You begin to send out stupid emails to everybody.

19) You start practicing your ORD speech infront of the mirror. It will most likely end with "ORD lor!~"

20) You feel a little sad and confused that it has finally ended.

Hand hurts like crazy now..

I went for a BBQ at ECP yesterday and did the most stupid thing ever. I was walking along the breakwater in order to grab a fresh breath of air. I was tipsy after drinking a little liqour...

That was a big mistake.

I slipped and fell. In my drunken stupor, I broke fall with my left hand. Where all the barnacles resides.

The result?

My hand came away all bloody and mangled. Pieces of barnacles still stuck in them.

Went to Macdonald to wash my bloody hand. Went home next as I was too wasted to continue with the night's activity. Not to mention too affected by the dull throbbing of the wound.

Woke up today with the bandage all bloody. I can't bend the hand without reopening the wound. *sigh*

I will go shower soon. Think it will be a challenge on how to keep my hand out of the water and clean the wound at the same time.

The 4th Day

Today is the 4th day that I spent free and unfettered by all the stupid organisation stuff. To my surprise, it feels normal. Not even fun or anything.

Have you tried to do sometime so hard that you almost gave your heart and soul and your money and time into it? I did. The results are a bit disappointing though. I would rather not talk about it. The reason why I wrote it here is to remind myself about this issue.

Went town with Dino, Amos and his GF. Amos is enjoying his couplehood. I must break them up asap! Muahahahahaha!~

I went to look at dunks again. It is damn beautiful. I am tempted.

Undesirable habits.

A person's perspective can change really as one gets older.

I used to like fast food and all. But now I think they look weird, taste funny, cost a lot and does a poor job in satisfying hunger pangs after a while.

I used to think that smoking is stupid. Unhealthy and all. It is still unhealthy... But I am not so sure about the stupid portion anymore.

I used to respect the rank system. Until I realised that rank does nothing. Capability and effort counts. You can screw your men. They will screw you back in ways you never imagined.

I used to think that I had a lot of problems to deal with. But actually compared to others, Circumstances and fate has been kind to me.

This week was terrible. Hectic beyond words. I never realised that chamber safety for range can be so exhausting....

Last 500 metre dash to my pink IC. Must run. Faster.
