Short Week.

This week is clearly a short working week. With only technically speaking, 3 1/2 days working only. Thursday afternoon was spent at St' Theresa Old Folks Home doing community service with the whole battalion. Friday was a out camp run at East Coast Park. I saw Kheng Hao that man-bitch and Melvin Yin Mun Hong. Hahaha... They run damn fast leh, I was running quite slowly behind.

Ok. I admit. I walked. A lot.

I was so slow that Kheng Hao that stupid man-bitch ridiculed me when he ran back after the U-turn point. That stupid ass....

I will kick his ass at AHM....

Degenerating Youths

I was reading the papers on thursday about this girl who is 15 and slept with the three guys. She later went on to accuse one of them for rape. The accused declared that it was consensual. All three will be charged anyway for statuory rape. According to the newspaper, when one of the accused was asked whether if he will plead guilty, he answered that he need to ask his mum first. He promptly did and plead guilty thereafter. Makes me wonder if he actually knew how to perform the physical act... Did he checked with his mum beforehand?

Makes one wonder what is happening to the youth nowadays. Although, I suspect that such things has been happening underground for some time. Look at the trend, the number of kids (18 and below) are getting more affluent and daring... I can't remember the number of times such news has hit the headlines. Then again, newspaper nowadays simply like to splash news like this over the headlines. I suppose it drives sales and everything for it is indeed very tempting to fork out the money to read such salicious content.... Haha....

My sis is 15 this year and I am worried...

I wonder what type of company she hangs out with?

Packing Old CDs...

My room has been falling into a state of messiness bought upon by NS. Too much stuff accumulating all over the room. Remember the heydays before mp3 became popular and CDs were unrivalled? I fell into the buying trap then and yes, even now I still buy an odd CD or two... Yeap, now i have plenty of old CDs lying around. I still want to keep them but space is a problem...

My storage solution?

hmm......

Simply pack em' into a paper box and then stow it under my bed!~ Hahaha... simply ingenious! Out of sight, out of mind. Till the day when they are ready to see daylight again...

Simple task? I think not....

Ha... I thought that assone had given me a rather simple task in the beginning. But after I broke down the task into smaller portions, it seems really easy after a while.

You see, I was given the task to trace down all the computers under the OA account. My job is to verify their serial number and their current location and issue out the hand/take-over documents. Well, at least I had a good start, with Kenny helping me out to track down and verify the computers. Things were chugging along at a decent rate until Kenny had to verify the computers at lower camp. That was when things get really tacky....

When he got back from lower camp, I nearly flipped when he told me one computer couldn't be located. More calls were made until somebody from lower camp offered to solve the mystery of the missing computer by highlighting the fact that some computers are stored in another building. Kenny finally located the last computer. For his effort and other accomplishment, I granted him 2 x off. He has been working too hard anyway, for national day parade and the upcoming krescemdo.

I got all the information finally and I proceeded to type out all the information in excel. Just when I finally finishing typing everything and did all the necessary formatting. Rajesh told me that he had the soft copy. Oh great! all the work for nothing... I nearly kicked myself for not asking him first... Spent the remaining of the day churning out the forms.

Finally, with the forms done up, had to look for the right people to hand over to. The most difficult thing to do. First of all, nobody ever wants to sign over stuffs that they need to be responsible for. Wah lau eh, I got enciks arguing with me on who should sign out for the computers can you believe that? I finally got all the enciks involved to come over to my office for a meeting in which I basically sweet-talked and cajoled them into accepting my proposition. Cajoling them really ruffles my feathers.... Grrr!

Just when everything was almost done up, another computer was transferred within the lower camp, resulting in mayhem in all the forms that I have done-up. Great, then it was the mad rush to amend and print them out and look for all the parties involved to re-sign all the forms. Kaoz! was up to my neck in work... Half of it is undone now despite me working until close to 7.00.

Guess what? we need all the forms on monday....

I think I will die on monday.
