Laziness

3 weeks after my SIP...

I discovered that I have grown really lazy after spending too much free time on TV, anime, games and books (mostly comics and novels). I still haven do up my blog yet... Argh!~ must do up my blog... but everytime i look at the codes I feel turn off... hmm... must psycho myself to do it one of these days......

Boredom... Sigh!~

Boredom strikes and I had nowhere to hide....

Luckily I made my way to Tampines library a few days ago for books... Was reading a book by Jeffery Deaver : Garden of Beasts.

The plot is interesting, it takes place after World War One and before World War Two... Our main character is a german american mobster hitman, brillant and righteous, so called as he only correct god mistakes. Yeah... This means he only do hits on baddies k? Sadly, he was busted on a previous assignment by the Office of Naval Intelligence (mentioned in the book to be the equivalent of current day CIA...) he was given a choice, gallows or another righteous job... Any idiot will know which to choose right ?

Off our hero goes to " touch off " a person in charge or rearming the german army. Germany who is hosting the Olympics, providing a perfect cover for him as a sportswriter... Along the way, he's pursued relentlessly by two Krispo for a murder (err... think modern day CID k? not the kellog koko crunch Krispo...), the Gestapo and SS who received info that a hit is on their officials. Whats happen next is partcularly interesting... Go read the book to find out....

Jeffrey Deaver shines here for his epertise and knowledge on police work and forensic sciences. Typical of his usual writing style... think Lincoln Rhymes series....

This book is worth a read for the insight into Germany after world war one under Hitler's leadership... Learnt quite a lot of things here... especially a rather graphical account of the many atrocities that took place...

oh yeah, I watched pearl harbour part one and two on channel 5 as well. I think that kate beckinsale role in the movie is a bit too unbelivable... she fell for two guys at the same time? Is it even possible in the first place? So does she like Josh Hartnett more or Ben Affleck more? Why did the movie show them bombing Tokyo and not Hiroshima, Nagasaki with Fat Man and Little Boy ? Wouldn't that be more cinematic ?

Hmm...

Too much history at one go... time to return from the past back and back to the present...

So tired.... couldnt sleep well last night.... Whats wrong with me his few days? Think that maybe I coming down with something nasty.... Anyway woke up at 8.30 a.m in the morning to go for Scouting today... Hahah ! Today is the Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) and Jamboree On The Internet (JOTI) day.... went to Siglap Sec with my boys for the activity... where i met a little cadet scout from white sands primary.... Felix Tan was the name... a energetic and cute boy of 8 going 9 years old who loves train... Especially the Shinkansen.... hmm... i feel a bit odd and like a parent when he's around me in the computer lab... (yes, we are in the computer lab using MIRC to communicate)

It was such a heart warming moment when he hugs me after i have taught him how to communicate with scouts from other country.... Such is the joy in scouting.... teaching others... especially kids...

Argh! MONSTEROUS RED EYES !~

Woke up at 11.30a.m.... Feeling groggy... Went to the bathroom to wash up and looked into the mirror and DRATS.... a pair of MONSTEROUSLY RED EYES stared back at me.... No, the mirror is working fine... its just my eyes.... feel so upset by back what i saw in the mirror so went to dripped some Patanol into my eyes then to living room and watch TV...

* 1 Hour later *

Argh ! still very red.... what to do now? use another eyedrop... Spersallerg it should be! went back to watch TV...

* 1/2 Hour later *

Hmm... some what better... but dripped some FML liquiflim into my eyes anyway to play safe... went back to watch TV....

Yes... it definitely looks better now... so prepare to clean up the eye lids by using some Blephagel... * wipe wipe *...

In case you are wondering if the above account is real let me assure you... its FREAKING REAL... sad to say, but I am a poor soul suffering from Kerato Conjunctivitis... to further cement the fact that its real, look at my blog name... there! the most irrefutable fact... Feeling Incredulous now...

Whoa! just finished a book and am feeling a bit disturbed by what i have read... The book is non other then " The Da Vinci Code " written by Dan Brown... and yes, its the 16 week best seller book. I got the book from my bro as a gift after telling him how nice the story premise is after a trip to kinokuniya. Think that now he is going to be my new itinerary idol! I used to worship Jeffery Deaver for his Lincoln Rhymes series hah! anyway, they are all excellent authors in their own right... Especially when the amount of research that goes into writing each books becomes so apparent when you are reading it, it totally astounds me man!~ I feel that i have just attended a lesson on Crytography and Symbology...

I must admit that some of the ideas in the book were really absurd and hard to believe... to complicate things, some of the things in the book were facts recorded in history and really controversial in nature... such as the Priory of Sion, a secret society tasked with protecting a secret and making sure it is not lost with time and Leonardo Da Vinci being a member of it...

My brain feels scrambled now...

Bumming around...

Today is actually my first day of bumming around after SIP... tried to finish the report in office yesterday... but can't, so bo pian lor... went back to school to do today...

Reached school at 9.45... went to buy toast and milk before going to Silicon Studio 2... you know wat they say about eating in the lab.... accidentally spilled some milk on carpet... hope nobody notices... haha... oh yeah, saw ALvin Oh , Jian Yi n company when arrived.... went over to talk rot and began to spy on their report...

try loggin into the com next... then SHIT ! I WAS LOCK OUT ! DAMNED ! looks like the school changed the password again and for some reason, I was lock out... what happen next was boring... I went down to the BIZ lab and spoke to the lab tech... reset the password and went back to SS 2 and waited for like 10 minutes and Hey ! I was in..... so downloaded the report off my brief case and then started writing. Then Zhen jie and Weihao arrived and we spent 10 mins talking and surfing the net for Singapore Idol... then ZJ say he hungry... then we all go for early lunch lor...

Ordered orange juice and chicken cutlet for lunch.... still taste as saltish and unhealthy as ever... but did got excited for a moment hearing the uncle announce " cutlet one" in his very the dull and monotonous voice... somethings just don't change... went back to lab and did report until 3. Nix arrive and we psyched him into going for movies with us...

Went to play arcade next then caught Resident Evil 2: Nemesis at 4.20. the movie is kinda lame with zombies and everything... but hey! i played the game when I was in sec sch ok? I nearly peed in my pants when i played it at night and the Stupid Nemesis came out of nowhere and chased my Jill around... oh yeah... Alice wasn't in the game but was in the movie... more eye candy huh ?

One pinkie up for the movie... (Cause the ending sucks!) but hormone-charged guys go watch it for the exposed breasts ok? You will get loads of it in the movie...

I am off to dig out the PS game and try to complete it during my holidays!~

Groggy Day

*Yawn* Woke up after sleeping for the last 8 hours ? me went to Fisherman Village with Vinz and company for drinks yesterday where we sat around and talk rot for a few hours.... hahah! Then left at 2+ a.m and got home at 3+... Damn tired... fell asleep on the living room's sofa and got hell in the morning from mum for soiling her sofa ( sweat N grime... no puke...) Damn! should have woke up before her and went back into my room and continue my slumber instead...
